To celebrate their 40th anniversary, SeCan has launched a new initiative that aims to tackle the challenge of earning the public’s trust in Canada’s farming practices.

Their new Growing Trust initiative matches donations made by SeCan members to Farm & Food Care Canada, to support programs such as The Real Dirt on Farming, Virtual Farm & Food Tours and Breakfast on the Farm events.

Their “t’Ag, You’re It” slogan is intended to encourage sharing amongst agriculture industry workers and representatives. Through widespread communication and encouraging others to get involved, SeCan hopes to bring a louder voice to the good things being done by Canada’s ag workers.
