ADAMA is giving agri-retailers a chance to make a big difference in their communities with their "Thank-a-Retailer" community contest.

Four agri-retailers will be awarded a grand prize of $15,000 to spend on worthy efforts within their communities.

If you think your business is a great choice for the grand prize, then nominate your location today! Participants can submit one vote per day until Feb. 28, 2017. Voting is open to all Canadians with a valid email address.

"Retailers are the unsung heroes of the agriculture industry," said Andrew Mann, CEO of ADAMA Canada. "We have seen first-hand how hard they work to make farmers successful, which has a big impact in communities across the country. This contest is our way of recognizing this hard work and supporting the communities in which our retailers live and do business."

This contest allows members of the ag industry to recognize the efforts of agri-retailers while giving back to deserving causes in Canadian communities.

A panel of judges will select the four winners by the end of March. One will be from eastern Canada (ON, NB, NL, NS, PEI) and one from Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta/British Columbia separately.
