John Deere has introduced new carbon fibre booms and a new CommandView III cab for their John Deere 4-Series Sprayers.

These new products were revealed to the public at the 2017 National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, Kentucky in February.

The new 120- and 132-foot carbon fibre booms are substituting for the steel and aluminum that is traditionally used in farm equipment. They will weigh 35% less than traditional booms, which will help minimize the impact on crop and soil.

The CommandView III cab comes with the John Deere 4600 CommandCenter and a redesigned CommandARM that features a multi-function handle.

John Deere dealers will be accepting orders for both products at the beginning of June.
