Be Part of the Ag Safe Family

This week-long initiative is delivered by the Canadian Agricultural Safety Association (CASA) to promote farm safety across the country. 2018 marks the third year that Ag Safety week will coincide with CASA’s “Be an Ag Safe Family” campaign.
The first two years of the campaign focused on specific safety considerations for children and adults respectively. This year, the campaign focuses on actions you can take around your operation to support senior farmers.

Become a friend of Canadian Ag Safety Week

CAAR is proud to be a friend of Canadian Ag Safety Week since January 2017. As part of our commitment to farm safety, CAAR promoted CASA’s Ag Safe Ribbon Campaign by distributing ag safe ribbons to attendees of the 2018 CAAR Conference in Saskatoon, Sask. and encouraging members to make farm safety a priority with their customers throughout the year.

You can become a Friend of Ag Safety Week by hosting an ag safety event in your community, participating in the Ag Safe Ribbon Campaign or highlighting Ag Safety Week on your organization’s website.
