The Canadian Association of Agri-Retailers is celebrating its 25th anniversary of industry support and to thank our members for their commitment over the years, we are sending one complimentary 25th Anniversary book to each member who has renewed their 2020/21 membership. The 25th CAAR Anniversary book highlights the history of CAAR and its involvement and support in the Canadian agriculture industry, this is a great piece to display at your office and show you’re a proud member of CAAR.

CAAR is a member-driven non-for-profit association, representing Canada’s ag retailers. Membership with CAAR is an investment and solidifies not only the strength, but the long-term sustainability of the association and the availability of our programs and services for all members. CAAR’s advocacy success is driven by the size of membership the association represents. Every member makes a difference and strengthens CAAR’s ability to influence decision makers and regulators.

A new edition of CSA B625, developed by the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) Technical Committee on portable tanks for the transport of dangerous goods, has been published. Keep reading for highlighted changes to the standard and ways to view the standard in its entirety.

For the first time ever, the Canadian Seed Trade Association (CSTA) will be holding its Annual General Meeting online. Log in on Wednesday, July 15 from 1-3:30 p.m. to hear remarks from CSTA’s president and staff members, along with an extensive discussion of the Seed Synergy Collaboration Project and consolidation vote.

CAAR members are in the process of receiving membership renewal information and we’re encouraging all members to renew for the 2020-21 year. Don't delay - membership renewals are due June 30, 2020.

Thank you to our members who renewed their 2020/21 membership and continued to invest in CAAR. Without the loyalty and support, CAAR would not be able to continuously produce valuable programs and services as well as advocate on behalf of Canada’s ag retailers.
