Nurse Tank Safety Program Training
Successful trainees receive: Tank Inspector certification (valid for three (3) years).
For the inspection, test, and retest of nurse tanks and applicator tanks for the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) in accordance with CSA B620-09.
NOTE: First time participants must take the NTSP Tank Inspector Training course in-person (available on demand only). Only trainees who are renewing their certification can take the online course but can also attend an in-person training event.

- filing an application to perform hydro tests,
- physically performing hydrotests and external visual inspections,
- how the Quality Control Manual provisions fit with CSA B620.
Note that in order for a Tank Inspector to conduct inspections, testing and retesting of nurse tanks and applicator tanks, the facility where a Tank Inspector works, must be registered with Transport Canada. The process of getting registered is included in the course. Facilities need to re-register every 3 years.
