Nurse Tanks

As CAAR has shared already (Do you know that Nurse Tank Regulations have changed), there are new regulations with regard to Nurse Tank Safety.

The Nurse Tank Safety Program (NTSP) Training is mandatory for the inspection, testing, and retesting of nurse tanks and applicator tanks in compliance with the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations as outlined in CSA B620-20.

First-time participants are required to complete the NTSP Tank Inspector Training course in person. The certification is valid for three (3) years or until a new CSA B620 standard is implemented, should that occur before the three-year expiration.

CAAR anticipates holding a two-day in person course in September in Manitoba and will proceed if there are a minimum of 15 participants.

Dates and locations:

  • Day 1: September 11, 2024 –  Brandon, MB (8:30 AM – 4:30 PM)
  • Day 2: September 12, 2024 –  Shoal Lake, MB (8:30 AM – 3:00 PM)

If you, or someone in your organization is interested in taking the course, please complete the following survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/NTSP_Registration by no later than August 19th.

Once final arrangements have been made, additional details will be provided to those who completed the survey.
