We are pleased to announce that our upcoming Nurse Tank Safety Program Certification has received great interest.  Please note that CAAR’s September session is now full.

If you wish to perform your own inspections, testing, and retesting of nurse tanks and applicator tanks, you must comply with the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations specified in CSA B620-20. This includes completing mandatory training from an instructor approved by Transport Canada. The certification remains valid for three (3) years or until a new CSA B620 standard is introduced, whichever comes first.

First-time participants are required to complete the NTSP training in person (recertification is conducted virtually). Before participating, you must hold a valid Anhydrous Ammonia TDG certificate and WHMIS certification. Additionally, it is recommended that you have at least one year of experience working with ammonia and some involvement in maintaining ammonia equipment.

Though our September session for the NTSP Certification is full, CAAR would like to gauge interest in scheduling additional NTSP Certification sessions and request your feedback regarding other training offering.
