Clinton Monchuk, Saskatchewan farmer and Executive Director, Farm & Food Care Saskatchewan
Clinton Monchuk grew up on a mixed dairy, beef and grain family farm outside of Lanigan, Saskatchewan. He received his Bachelors of Science in Agriculture majoring in Agricultural Economics from the University of Saskatchewan and Masters of Business Administration in Agriculture from the University of Guelph. Clinton has enjoyed numerous roles across Canada, the United States and Mexico as a researcher, educator, manager, economist and director of trade policy.
In 2016 Clinton accepted the role of Executive Director with Farm & Food Care Saskatchewan to promote farming and ranching to consumers. Clinton understands the value of increasing public trust in agriculture and actively promotes engagement between the agriculture industry and consumers. He also gives back to the agriculture community as a board member, serving on the Agri-Food Council of Saskatchewan and Pound-Maker Agventures Ltd. (a large cattle feedlot and ethanol plant).
Clinton, Laura and their children Jackson and Katelyn, continue to be active partners on their family grain farm in Saskatchewan and cattle ranch in Oklahoma.
Cherilyn Jolly-Nagel, Saskatchewan farmer and ag industry advocate
Cherilyn Jolly-Nagel along with her husband David and family, are farming in Saskatchewan and are proud parents of 2 young farm girls. As a speaker, moderator, Emcee and as the Host of Farm Show TV, Cherilyn enjoys sharing agriculture related topics to a wide array of audiences. Cherilyn holds her ICD.D designation through the Rotman School of Management and the Institute of Corporate Directors and has served on the board of SaskPower, as President of the Canadian Wheat Growers and as a member of the Canadian National Railway Agriculture Advisory Council. In cooperation with the team at Utensil.ca, Cherilyn launched an online training program titled “So… your client is a farmer?” with the goal to help people build better relationships with farmers and increase the overall level of knowledge about agriculture and food. Having travelled extensively around the world, Cherilyn now represents Canada as an International Director on the board for the Global Farmer Network which seeks to amplify farmers voices on issues related to trade and access to technology. Cherilyn was recently recognized as one of the Top 50 Most Influential People in Canadian Agriculture.
Bill Prybylski, Saskatchewan farmer and Vice President, Agricultural Producers Association of Saskatchewan (APAS)
Bill grew up on the family farm west of Yorkton near Willowbrook. Along with his son, brother and nephews he owns and operates Creekridge Farms Ltd. where they grow canola, wheat, barley, oats, peas and lentils and run a commercial cow/calf operation. Bill served on RM of Garry #245 Council as Councillor and Deputy Reeve. He was a founding Board member of the East Central Research Foundation and served on the Board of Legacy Co-op in Yorkton. He is also an active member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church in Yorkton. Bill also coached and managed several of the sport teams that his kids have been involved with. Bill currently serves as Vice President of the Agricultural Producers Association of Saskatchewan (APAS) and is their representative on the Canada Grains Council and through APAS is involved with the Canadian Federation of Agriculture.
