Congratulations to Alex Michinski of AGRIS Co-operative Ltd’s Cottam branch for receiving GROWMARK’s Endure 4R Advocate Award.

Michinski, area manager for the Cottam branch, was nominated for the award by AGRIS Co-operative for his diligence in working with growers to manage nutrients sustainably, improve water quality and engage in soil conservation practices. CAAR would like to extend its warmest congratulations to Michinski for providing his customers with sound, sustainable recommendations and his enduring commitment to the tenets of 4R Stewardship.

AGRIS received the 4R Nutrient Stewardship Agri-Retailer award at the CAAR's Choice Awards in 2017, recognizing its company-wide commitment to 4R practices and principles. Earlier this year, it was the first co-operative, and the second retailer, in Canada to receive their full 4R Certification through the provincial 4R Nutrient Stewardship Certification Program.
