Banner for NTSP Update CAAR Network

With increases of COVID-19 positive tests across the prairie provinces, CAAR will not be hosting in-person NTSP training for the Fall of 2020. As an alternative, CAAR will host virtual training events during the Fall to provide our members the training they require during these uncertain times.

Before we can host the virtual training, we are currently in consultations with Transport Canada to confirm the following:

  1. The status of CAAR being recognized as an NH3 safety trainer
  2. The status of CAAR being recognized as an NH3 safety training organization
  3. The status of the B620-20 legislation that will come into effect in Fall 2020

In order for us to provide training on the changes of the B620-20 legislation, CAAR must be recognized for the 2 criteria listed above.

Once the B620-20 legislation comes into effect, retailers will have 6 months to comply with the new requirements. We are trying to avoid providing training to retailers that are out of compliance within the 6-month period.
