2020 saw many changes to Nurse Tank Safety Program (NTSP) Training as a result of COVID-19 and as a result of changes to legislation.  B620-20 legislation came into effect in the Fall of 2020.

B620-20 legislation came into effect in the Fall of 2020. CAAR now offers virtual Tank Inspector and Test Certification which is valid for three years, for the inspection, test, and retest of nurse tanks and applicator tanks for the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) in accordance with CSA B620-20. Register now.

PLEASE NOTE: First time participants must take the NTSP Tank Inspector Training course in-person (available on demand only). Only trainees who are renewing their certification can take the online course and can also attend an in-person training event.

For a Tank Inspector to conduct inspections, testing and retesting of nurse tanks and applicator tanks, the facility where a Tank Inspector works, must be registered with Transport Canada. The process of getting registered is included in the course. Facilities need to re-register every 3 years..
