Devron McLeod will leverage his sales and marketing experience in the agriculture industry to lead FMC in Canada
Devron McLeod is joining FMC as the new Country Manager, Canada. He takes over from Darren Dillenbeck who recently moved from his home in Calgary to take on the role of President of FMC, USA Crop Protection.
Devron has held several commercial positions in the crop protection industry, all with increasing responsibility and scope. Most recently, Devron was at another large crop protection company leading their team as the national sales manager in Canada. Over the course of his career, he has also worked in the USA and in Canadian agricultural banking. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness from the University of Manitoba.
“Devron’s sales and marketing experience in the Canadian and US agricultural markets will serve him well in this position,” says Ronaldo Pereira, Executive Vice President and President, FMC Americas. “This is an exciting time to lead the Canadian team. We’ve seen substantial growth in our business in recent years and have a rich pipeline of solutions for growers. We’re thrilled to have him join FMC Canada.”
As Country Manager, Devron will support the planning of policies, growth strategies, and long-range goals for FMC Canada. He will also lead the Canadian marketing, sales, business development, and regulatory teams to add even more value for customers. Devron will be based out of the FMC office in Calgary.
“I’m thrilled to join the FMC team,” says Devron. “The company is experiencing a lot of growth and has strong customer loyalty. FMC has an award-winning research pipeline and most importantly, a motivated and professional team in Canada. We’re poised for an amazing season ahead.”
