Agriculture in the Classroom Manitoba (AITC-M) is excited to give students and teachers the opportunity to experience this year’s Amazing Agriculture Adventure in Brandon, June 7th and 8th.

You can help this event be a success, and spread the good news about agriculture, by volunteering to be an Agriculture Ambassador.

AITC-M is calling for volunteers to help with the AAA event held at the Keystone Centre on June 7 and 8, with set up being on June 6. You can volunteer for a full or half day.

At least 20 volunteers are needed for both areas:

  • Class hosting: Work with teachers and students to lead them to the correct stations at the right time. You are not responsible for supervising students. AITC-M will provide all the information needed at the morning orientation.
  • Volunteer station: Manage 10-minute stations for each group. AITC-M provides all the information you need to do this with scripts before the event and training the morning of. These stations are very interactive and fun to work at. This is an awesome way for you to teach kids about agriculture and share your story! Volunteer stations include: sheep, enviroscapes, wool station, combine, tractor/baler, wheat grinding, leafy spurge, and farm business station.

Do you want to inspire kids about Canadian agriculture and volunteer for Brandon AAA? Click here to register before May 26th, or call Diane at 204-471-9698.

The deadline to register is Thursday, May 26.
