Agriculture in the Classroom is in need of volunteers for the 2017 Canadian Agriculture Literacy Month (CALM) Program.

Volunteers visit participating schools to share their experiences in agriculture with young students. The time commitment can be a minimum of one hour in a classroom, half a day or even a full day over multiple days in different classrooms. CALM will provide all volunteers with the necessary tools to participate.

Members of the ag community in Manitoba and Saskatchewan are encouraged to sign up and give back to their communities.

CALM is a 60-minute classroom program that is delivered to schools throughout the month of March.

Volunteer registration closes on Friday, Jan. 20, 2017.
