As part of its Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Directorate, Transport Canada has launched its Safety Awareness Kits.

These kits will be available for members of the public, communities and municipalities, first responders and industry members. The TDG Directorate aims to be the focal point for Canada's national program to promote public safety during the transportation of dangerous goods.

The industry safety kits includes information on items like:

  • Emergency Preparedness and Response
  • Required Information on a Shipping Document
  • Dangerous Goods Safety Marks Handout
  • Part 8 - Reporting Requirements
