The Canadian Association of Agri-Retailers (CAAR) is pleased to announce that Mitch Rezansoff has joined the association in the role of Executive Director.

“On behalf of the CAAR Board of Directors and staff, I am excited to make this announcement and welcome Mitch to the team. His passion for agriculture and appreciation of the challenges our members face will be a tremendous asset to CAAR as we continue to advocate for the industry,” says Martin Kiefer, Board Chair.

In his new leadership position at CAAR, Rezansoff looks forward to engaging with the industry, ensuring that retailers are well-represented on a national level, and helping to keep CAAR one step ahead of the ever-changing needs of its membership.

Rezansoff joins CAAR with over 34 years of experience in agriculture, from his early days as a territory manager with BASF to, most recently, as the Integrated Solutions Manager at Enns Brothers. He possesses a keen understanding of agri-retail and the value that retailers bring to their customers.

“The retail sector is instrumental in transferring knowledge to farmers,” says Rezansoff. “It’s important that, as an industry, we’re providing sound, reliable information to help them improve their businesses and the quality of life on the farm. Retailers play a significant role in advancing new ideas and innovation.

“It’s exciting to be a part of an industry that is evolving all the time. What do the next 10 years look like? I don’t know, but I’m looking forward to being a part of it.”
