Transport Canada has adopted the CSA B620-14 version as of July 12, 2017, which are being enforced as of January 12, 2018. CAAR is in the process of revising the Nurse Tank Safety Council of Canada Quality Control Manual (QC Manual) to reflect the changes that have been made in the CSA B620-14.

Some of the changes in B620-14 include moving to a one (1) year external visual Inspection and to a three (3) year hydrostatic test for the non TC spec tanks being inspected to a TC51 standard.

CAAR and NTSCC aims to develop a manual draft for review by Transport Canada with the goal of distributing to all program participants by mid-March.
