Fertilizer Canada is hosting a webinar outlining the implementation process for the Calcium Ammonium Nitrate (CAN) Security Code of Practice. The webinar will provide crucial information for any retailers who transport, store, handle and/or sell CAN.

The webinar will be held on Tuesday March 20 and registration is open until Thursday March 15.

Agri-retailers and distribution sites who transport, store, handle and/or sell CAN must become certified in the new practices through a formal audit by December 31, 2019. To ensure your retail facility stays in compliance and is able to continue selling and transporting CAN, it is important that you take a proactive approach to the implementation process.

This free, remote-access webinar will inform you of what will be expected from your facility by offering an overview of the CAN Security Code protocols, the third-party audit process and the implementation timeline. Participants will have the opportunity to ask specific questions about the program.
