During National Soil Conservation Week, CAAR would like to thank our members for their dedication to helping their customers make the best decisions on their operations to protect our soils for the next generations.

National Soil Conservation Week highlights the importance of soil health and science for the future of Canada’s economy and environment, something CAAR members are well aware of.

By participating in programs like 4R Nutrient Stewardship and Land O’ Lakes SUSTAIN, retailers are gaining the knowledge, skills and framework to demonstrate their commitment to protecting Canadian soils.

According to the National Soil Conservation Council of Canada, “farmers and land managers need support to implement best management practices that mitigate (soil degradation) risks, but it is not solely their responsibility.” Our members have risen to the challenge, and for that, we say thank you.
