CAAR members can help develop credible metrics on the state of development and adoption of precision agriculture techniques among Western Canadian Ag Retailers by taking 15 minutes to fill out the "2019 Precision Agriculture Dealership Survey," currently being developed in partnership between The University of Guelph and Purdue University. CAAR members are encouraged to submit comments to the Canada Grains Council on the Market Acceptance of Pesticide Use Policy. The Canada Grains Councils is consulting stakeholders until August 31, 2019 on a new framework to manage trade compliance risk related to pesticide use. Ag in Motion kicks off today, it is the largest agricultural trade show in Western Canada, providing a venue for progressive farmers who want to see and experience the latest agricultural innovations. This year, visitors to the Ag in Motion site might notice some new environmental stewardship initiatives “AIM”ed at fighting the spread of clubroot and reducing waste.
