The 16th annual Canadian Fertilizer Products Forum (CFPF) hosted by Fertilizer Canada held its first session October 26, the next session will be held November 2.   

On October 25, 2022, Health Canada published a Notice of Intent ( NOI2022-01) to inform stakeholders of its intention to disclose the names of applicants and registrants for certain pest control product regulatory activities.

As previously announced by CAAR in a Member Alert last week, the Safety and the Farmer course is disabled as of September 29. Training curriculum, self-testing means, and certificates issued do not change. CAAR will redirect training to Fertilizer Canada's website.

Wednesday,October 13, 2021 CAAR encourages members to celebrate Global Fertilizer Day. Fertilizer significantly increases the amount of food that can be safely grown per acre and experts say this allows two out of five people around the world to have access to a reliable food supply.

Today on October 13, Global Fertilizer Day, the Canadian fertilizer industry and all related ag industries celebrates their accomplishments and innovations in fertilizer and environment sustainability. CAAR Member retailers, suppliers and farmers continue to move the industry forward as they feed the world.

The Canadian fertilizer industry has a lot to be proud of, and CAAR would like to encourage all of its members to celebrate the advancements and achievements of the industry by participating in Global Fertilizer Day on October 13. Global Fertilizer Day, celebrated annually on October 13, is an international awareness campaign initiated by Fertilizers Europe and supported internationally by fertilizer associations and companies with the goal of bringing awareness to the important role of fertilizer as the backbone of the agricultural industry and to feeding the world.
