The Pre-FPT Agriculture and Agri-Food Industry Meeting
Manitoba industry associations and organizations, academia, Indigenous organizations, and national commodity groups located in Manitoba explored questions presented by the Minister of Agriculture and Resource Development. Attendees participated in discussion topics including sustainability benchmarking, maximizing the benefits from innovation, and building sector diversity and inclusivity.

Next Policy Framework-Setting our Priorities survey hosted on Engage MB
The NPF will enable programming and policy for Manitoba’s agriculture and agri-food sector, supporting the sustainable economic growth of Manitoba’s economy. Two hundred and eleven Manitobans and industry organizations participated in the survey that focused on two key areas – reviewing the AG Action MB administration process and identifying NPF priorities.

Following the September ministers’ meeting, the department will begin program design and development.
