CAAR member ProSoils Inc. and Moose Mountain Farm Supply Ltd. announced the agreement at a customer meeting near Langbank, Saskatchewan.
ProSoils Inc. is a leader in the independent ag retail network providing NH3 service to farmers. “We are excited to work with Tim Lincoln and his team to ensure that the customers that Moose Mountain Farm Supply Ltd. has faithfully served for over 40 years will continue to be served by an independent ag retailer with a wealth of experience in the NH3 business and shared values of how we work with farmers,” said Jeff Prosko, President of ProSoils Inc.
The new acquisition by ProSoils Inc. will mean business as usual for Langbank and area farmers, as Tim Lincoln and his team will remain the key points of contact for the sales and service of NH3 from the Langbank site for the 2024 spring and fall NH3 application seasons.
ProSoils Inc. and Tim Lincoln will continue to meet with Langbank customers to discuss the acquisition and answer any questions about how they will be serviced with NH3 this spring and fall. “For 44 years, my team and I have enjoyed being partners in many farming operations, providing products and services to help our customers meet their business goals. We needed to find an independent ag retailer that shares our values to make this transition seamless for our customers. I am confident that we have found that right partner with the ProSoils’ team,” said Tim Lincoln, owner of Moose Mountain Farm Supply Ltd.
ProSoils is a family-owned independent ag retailer of crop input products and services in central and northeastern Saskatchewan. ProSoils’ ag retail operations were founded in 2013 and grew out of the deep passion and connection to agriculture that developed from the Prosko family’s multi-generational farming operation. ProSoils’ business philosophy is to provide great products and exceptional service to their customers by building a business relationship centred around the needs of their customers’ farms and their business goals. The ProSoils team’s first-hand connection to farming keeps them keenly aware of the realities and opportunities involved in crop production in western Canada. ProSoils’ full-service ag retail operations are located near Rose Valley, Lipton, and Carragana communities, which are currently under construction. Langbank will become ProSoils’ first NH3 site in south-east Saskatchewan.
