Delivered by the Canadian Agricultural Safety Association (CASA) and presented by Farm Credit Canada, the Canadian Agricultural Safety Week is an annual campaign held the third week of March of each year. Safe & Strong Farms is a three-year campaign celebrating farm safety across Canada. The aim of the campaign is to empower farmers, farm families and farming communities to build, grow, and lead the agricultural industry in safety and sustainability.
Start conversations and raise awareness. Be part of an AgSafe Canada and help make Canadian farms a safer place for everyone to live and work.
Participate in the Virtual AgSafe Ribbon Campaign
The AgSafe Ribbon Campaign is a celebration of Safe & Strong Farms and a way to declare your support and raise awareness about farm safety. CASA in cooperation with sponsor Farm Credit Canada is asking all Canadians to share the virtual AgSafe ribbon in support of Safe & Strong Farms.
Download the Virtual AgSafe Ribbon and share it on your social media platforms:
• start a discussion about farm safety with your friends, family, and community,
• declare you are a farm safety champion,
• tell your story about why farm safety is important to you,
• use the hashtag #AgSafeCanada when talking about Ag Safety Week.

Become a friend of Canadian Ag Safety Week
CAAR is proud to be a friend of Canadian Ag Safety Week since January 2017. As part of our commitment to farm safety, CAAR supported CASA through the 2021 Virtual CAAR Conference. In lieu of speaker gifts, donations were made on behalf of the conference speakers to CASA, to help support their initiatives like the Canadian Ag Safety Week.
You can become a Friend of Ag Safety Week by hosting a virtual ag safety event, participating in the Virtual Ag Safe Ribbon Campaign or highlighting Ag Safety Week on your organization’s website.
Visit agsafetyweek.ca to learn more about how you can become a Friend of Ag Safety Week and get involved in this important industry initiative.
Share the AgSafe Message
CAAR members are encouraged to get involved by supporting Ag Safety Week messaging and sharing the campaign resources with their customers. As trusted advisors, retailers play a vital role in disseminating information to growers. This can be done through virtual face-to-face conversations or online via your website, blog or social media platforms.
