DuPont Crop Protection announced on March 13 that the Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) in Canada has approved registration of DuPont Sortan IS herbicide.
The herbicide will allow growers to control tough, yield-robbing weeds like volunteer Roundup Ready canola, wild buckwheat, redroot pigweed (including triazine resistant biotypes), lamb's quarters, green foxtail, barnyard grass and quackgrass. This will keep corn weed-free during the important weed free period to maximize yield and profits.
Sortan IS can be applied pre-emergent or post-emergent and also provides extended control throughout the weed free period.
