Remind customers to bring back empties

Cleanfarms has asked CAAR to request ag retailers remind customers to bring back empties over the next month and to submit final pickup requests.

Cleanfarms advises that final pickup requests in Saskatchewan should be made by October 15th and by October 31st for British Columba, Alberta and Manitoba so final pickups can occur before mid-November. To request a pick-up, you must log in to your Cleanfarms account.

Cleanfarms reminds everyone to ensure empty containers are triple rinsed with the paper labels removed. Clean containers = clean collection sites.

As part of Cleanfarms' mission to provide convenient and efficient recycling programs to Canadian farmers, Cleanfarms is now extending the offer to pick up ag plastics for recycling from high-volume growers/businesses across Western Canada that meet volume requirements free of charge. If you have customers that may accumulate a Half Truck Load of bags of jugs (approx. 30 bags), non-deposit drums & totes (approx. 100 drums or 26 1000L totes), or a combination thereof and would benefit from this value-added service, please click here for more information or Cleanfarms.

CleanFarms is also seeking input from ag retailers in Alberta and Manitoba on the ag chem jug collection program and asks that the key person from your organization completes this survey by October 1st, 2023.
