CAAR has released its annual Year At-A-Glance to give you a snapshot of how your membership dollars were put to work this past year supporting programming, services and advocacy.

As the only national association focused on defending, protecting and enhancing the business of ag retail in Canada, CAAR has been hard at work on behalf of its membership through its work on advocacy, regulatory compliance and collaboration with industry groups and committees.

Advocacy

CAAR undertook a sustained and dedicated effort to represent retailers in meetings with regulators in discussions on the impact changes to CSA B620/B622 will have on retailers’ ability to do business.

Regulatory Compliance

CAAR continued to provide support for members to stay in regulatory compliance. CAAR made numerous updates to its training programs, resources and communications to keep members aware of crucial decisions.

Industry Collaboration

CAAR participated in committees, boards and working groups to represent the needs of retailers. Recognizing that participation with other industry groups can help CAAR achieve positive outcomes for members, the association remains committed to collaborating wherever possible.
